Community Supported Agriculture

A Community Supported Agriculture garden puts farmers and consumers in control of their food production through a subscriber program. Together they share the risks and bounty of the growing season.

Subscribers receive fresh picked produce every Tuesday of the growing season, along with weekly newsletters, which include garden information, caring of the produce and recipes.

The Prairie Harvest CSA at the Henry A. Wallace Country Life Center is organically certified, the only one in Southwest Iowa. The CSA season generally runs from the first of June to mid-October.
