GARDEN MARKET

The Henry A. Wallace Country Life Center will host a Garden Market every Friday through the summer. The market runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and offers fresh produce, baked goods and crafts.

DECK DEDICATION

Thanks to several generous gifts from the friends and family of Verle Armstrong, a deck has been added to the Gathering Barn at the Henry A. Wallace Country Life Center. The structure was formally dedicated on Sunday, June 5.

GARDEN TOURS

The first of the summer's self-guided tours has started. Nearly 40 gardens are on this year's tour, an event that takes place the first weeked of each month. The theme for the 2005 tour is "Patriotic Red, White and Blue" and features the zinnia. The Henry A. Wallace Country Life Center is one of the highlights of the tour.
